Samir uses private family photos, animations, music clips and unseen archive material to tell the story of migration from Switzerlands southern neighbours in an entertaining way, from the post-war period to the present day. While the SP and trade unions led the Swiss workers' culture until the 1950s, these institutions became less and less important and a new force emerged that continues to shape our society today: Labour migration. Today, nobody talks about the "working class" anymore. And the term "worker" has become synonymous with "foreigner".
